Obreedience

Pyrenean Sheepdogs
Diane Newton with Tyler (CARABRAE DANIEL DERONDA), Cynthia Milnes with Pussel (SWE & NOR CH HOB-NOB’S SOLEIL OF JENTILIMA), Pauline Keable with Fizz (RAMBAUDS XONVILLE), Jeanna Gwilliam with Kheva (NORLYGHT SEBELAS OF AMIENKO) and Liz Lewis with Geordi (GEORDI DE L’OUSTAOU DE PADEL).
We held a preliminary selection process at the club’s annual Fun Day before deciding on the final team members. We knew that it would be a challenge but we wanted to show how versatile this breed can be. None of the handlers or dogs have any formal Obedience qualifications although Pussel, Kheva and Geordi have their Gold Good Citizens Award and Tyler his Bronze. However all the dogs participate in other disciplines. Pussel and Tyler have both been Best of Breed at Crufts, Geordi and Fizz do agility. Kheva does Flyball, Kheva and Pussel are PAT dogs and Tyler has recently retired from Canix.
We have a very strong team spirit, a good sense of humour and are very supportive of each other.
It will be a very proud moment when we step into the ring to compete in Obreedience at Crufts. Our breed is still relatively rare in this country and it will be a marvellous opportunity to show the character, intelligence and versatility of our wonderful dogs.
