Toy Poodles

I was blown away by the Obreedience last year at Crufts and decided on the spot that I just HAD to get a team together to try and qualify. It’s such a brilliant yet simple idea to promote healthy, happy pedigree breeds at Crufts for all the world (and his dog) to see. I compete in agility and of course asked my pals with Toy Poodles if they fancied it, to my great delight they were very keen. I needed one more, and remembered a Facebook friend saying she did some obedience, so asked her and again she was super keen, we had a team!

Lynne.Marc WINGATE-WYNNE AND AG. CH. VANITONIA “Mr. Big” Mister Big is well known for his hair and great personality. He is now 6 years old and won the honour to be titled Agility Champion in 2013. Together we have a successful agility career competing at all of our countries major finals, and representing Great Britain on three occasions at the European and World championships.

Sue Hunt and EIKENBERRY BLACK HERO.”Hoochi” Hoochi is a grade 7 agility dog, he is 7 years old and lives with two other dogs; Cola a spaniel cross and my latest addition Bud, who is a Toy Poodle pup (*Mojo's pup). He loves everyone especially all my neighbours, he has a fabulous temperament and is a credit to his breed. He recently passed his bronze and silver good citizen awards. He managed to qualify for agility at Crufts 2014 in my club's team, his first time at Crufts and I was thrilled that he qualified again this year but, for 'Obreedience' this time.

Lynne Land and BUSY BEING AWESOME AT STEPANELLE.”Mojo” I have a lifetime of experience of being owned by Toy Poodles and have bred and shown them for many years. Mojo came along when a friend used her Dad Dom at stud and we had a puppy back. She has blown me away with her intelligence, learning new things with a clicker like lightening. She is almost 4 years old and a grade 5 agility dog, she did a dancing display at Crufts 2014, she is on a stunt dog team and we do demos around the country including Crufts, her usual tricks are skateboarding, rolling herself up in a blanket, opening a present amongst many others, her latest is handing me a hanky out of my back pocket when I sneeze! She truly is a dog of a lifetime and has even fitted in a litter of two beautiful boy pups into her busy schedule!

Hels Brayley and PUTTING ON THE RITZ.”Cheddar” Little Cheddar came to live with us after a customer at my grooming salon was unable to keep her, by this stage she had been passed around quite a bit and was very nervous. That first day I found cheese was the route to her heart; which is how she got her rather unusual name. I started clicker training at home straight away and we quickly became best friends. I decided I needed to do something to build her confidence, so started taking her to a local obedience club and found that she absolutely loved it, she really loved learning new things and we quickly became part of our local league where her confidence soared and she made lots of friends, both 2 and 4 legged! As well as obedience Cheddar loves scent tracking and going for long walks with other family dogs, Stan the Miniature Poodle and Ollie the Whippet. She is also particularly fond of a trip to our local pub!
